Across the United States, finding a local qualified Quran teacher can be difficult. Suffah Academy brings an Ijazah-certified teacher into your home across all four US time zones — on a schedule that fits your family.

🕐

All US Time Zones Covered

We serve EST, CST, MST and PST. Whether you are in New York or Los Angeles, we have teachers available at a time that works for your family — morning, evening or weekend.

👤

1-on-1 — No Group Classes

Your child gets the full, undivided attention of their teacher in every session. Private tuition that delivers real progress — no crowded classes, no waiting turns.

📜

Ijazah-Certified Teachers

Every teacher at Suffah Academy holds an authentic Ijazah — a verified chain of Quran transmission. Your child learns from a genuine Islamic scholar, not just a reader.

👩‍🏫

Male & Female Teachers

Choose whichever your family prefers. We have fully qualified male and female tutors — both equally certified, background-checked, and experienced with students in your region.

📊

Progress Reports Every Class

After each session you receive a written report — what was covered, how your child performed, and what to practise next. You are always informed and involved.

🔒

Safe, Recorded & Transparent

All classes are recorded. Parents may observe any session at any time. Every teacher is background-checked before they teach a single student. Full trust, always.

As a working parent in Chicago I needed a 6 PM CST slot. Suffah arranged it within 24 hours. My son has not missed a single class in four months. Genuinely impressed.

I wanted to learn Quran as an adult sister with a female teacher. Suffah matched me perfectly. My recitation has improved more in 3 months than in years of trying on my own.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions US parents and students ask before enrolling.

What US time zones do you serve?

We cover all four US time zones — EST, CST, MST, and PST. Whether you are in New York or Los Angeles, we have teachers available at a time that suits your family.

Do you have female teachers?

Yes. Simply request a female teacher when booking your free trial and we will only match you with a fully qualified lady tutor.

What age can my child start?

From as young as 4 to 5 years old with our Madani Qaida course — short, gentle 30-minute sessions designed for young American learners with no Arabic background.

Can I observe my child's class?

Always. Parents may sit in and watch any session. All classes are also recorded so you can review them at your convenience.

How many classes per week?

5 per week for the fastest progress in the beginning. After the foundation is solid, 3 per week works well around American school schedules.

Do you offer summer and Ramadan slots?

Yes — extended morning and evening slots are available during Ramadan and US summer holidays. Many families use summer break as the ideal time to start or intensify Quran classes.
