Welcome to Suffah Quran Academy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our online Quran learning services. By registering for or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Suffah Quran Academy’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Child Safety Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

For students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accept these terms on their behalf and is responsible for the student’s use of our services.

2. Service Description

Suffah Quran Academy provides online Quran learning services, including but not limited to:

  • One-to-one live Quran classes via video conferencing
  • Courses in Madani Qaida, Quran with Tajweed, Hifz, and Easy Quran Understanding
  • Qualified and experienced male and female teachers
  • Flexible scheduling according to student availability
  • Progress tracking and parent communication
  • Educational resources and materials

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Registration and Account

3.1 Account Creation

To use our services, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring all information provided is accurate and up-to-date

3.2 Free Trial Class

We offer one free trial class per student to help you evaluate our services. The trial class is subject to teacher availability and must be scheduled in advance. Only one trial class is permitted per student.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Fees and Pricing

Course fees are clearly displayed on our Fees & Pricing page. Prices may vary based on:

  • Geographic location (India vs International pricing)
  • Number of classes per week
  • Course type and duration
  • Special discounts or promotions

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Fees are charged on a monthly basis
  • Payment must be made in advance before the start of each month
  • We accept various payment methods including bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and online payment platforms
  • All payments are processed securely through trusted payment providers

4.3 Late Payment

If payment is not received by the due date, classes may be suspended until payment is made. We will provide reasonable notice before suspending services.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days’ advance notice. Existing students will be notified of any price changes via email.

5. Class Scheduling and Attendance

5.1 Scheduling

  • Classes are scheduled based on mutual availability of student and teacher
  • We offer flexible timing to accommodate different time zones
  • Regular class schedules should be maintained for optimal learning progress

5.2 Cancellation by Student

  • Students must provide at least 6 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a class
  • Classes cancelled with proper notice can be rescheduled within the same month
  • Classes cancelled without proper notice will be considered as completed and no makeup class will be provided
  • Maximum 2 rescheduling requests per month are allowed

5.3 Cancellation by Academy

If we need to cancel a class due to teacher unavailability or technical issues, we will:

  • Notify you as soon as possible
  • Reschedule the class at a mutually convenient time
  • Provide a makeup class or credit for the missed session

5.4 No-Show Policy

If a student fails to attend a scheduled class without prior notice, the class will be marked as completed and no refund or makeup class will be provided.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

6.1 Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds are available within the first 7 days of enrollment if you are not satisfied with our services
  • Refund amount will be calculated based on the number of classes completed
  • After 7 days, no refunds will be provided for the current month’s payment

6.2 Service Cancellation

  • You may cancel your enrollment at any time by providing written notice
  • Cancellation must be submitted at least 7 days before the next billing cycle
  • No refund will be provided for the current month after the 7-day period
  • Unused classes from the current month cannot be carried forward

6.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days to the original payment method.

7. User Responsibilities

As a user of our services, you agree to:

  • Provide a suitable learning environment with stable internet connection
  • Ensure the student is ready and available at scheduled class times
  • Treat teachers with respect and maintain Islamic etiquette
  • Not record, screenshot, or share class sessions without written permission
  • Not share account credentials with others
  • Use the services only for lawful and educational purposes
  • Provide accurate contact information for communication
  • Inform us of any technical issues or concerns promptly

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided through our services, including but not limited to course materials, teaching methods, videos, documents, and website content, is the intellectual property of Suffah Quran Academy and is protected by copyright laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without permission
  • Use our content for commercial purposes
  • Modify or create derivative works from our materials
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices

Materials provided for personal learning may be used solely for educational purposes by the enrolled student.

9. Child Safety and Protection

We are committed to providing a safe learning environment for all students. Please refer to our Child Safety Policy for detailed information. Key points include:

  • All teachers undergo background checks and child safety training
  • Classes are conducted in a professional and respectful manner
  • Parents are encouraged to monitor classes and provide feedback
  • Any concerns about child safety should be reported immediately
  • We maintain strict policies against inappropriate behavior

10. Technical Requirements

To use our services effectively, you need:

  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone with camera and microphone
  • Stable internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps recommended)
  • Video conferencing software as specified by the academy
  • Updated web browser

We are not responsible for technical issues on the user’s end that prevent class attendance. However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist with technical support.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suffah Quran Academy shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Technical failures, internet outages, or service interruptions
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Actions or omissions of third-party service providers

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us in writing. Termination will be effective at the end of the current billing period.

12.2 Termination by Academy

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions
  • Payment is not received after reasonable notice
  • You engage in abusive or inappropriate behavior
  • You misuse our services or violate intellectual property rights

Upon termination, your access to services will cease, and any outstanding payments will become immediately due.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these terms or our services:

  • We encourage you to contact us first to resolve the matter amicably
  • Both parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiations before pursuing legal action
  • If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation
  • These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Suffah Quran Academy is registered

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

We recommend reviewing these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

By enrolling in Suffah Quran Academy’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are enrolling a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and have the authority to accept these terms on their behalf.
